Start with Starbucks' own announcement
The simplest next step is the Stay In Touch newsletter signup at the bottom of the official Drinks & Food page. It offers Starbucks stories and news by email. Read the signup choices before subscribing; it is a general newsroom subscription, not a guaranteed alert for one drink.
That page currently leads with the fall menu. Its September 30 view also links to September 29 additions and an October 22 Halloween release. Those are seasonal updates, but neither headline establishes the US holiday-menu launch date. A new autumn item is not automatically part of the Christmas lineup.
Once Starbucks publishes a dated holiday announcement, use its US menu or app to check the store you intend to visit. A national announcement and availability of a particular drink at a particular coffeehouse answer different questions.

Why November 6 keeps appearing in search
Starbucks published “Starbucks holiday menu returns Nov. 6” on October 6, 2025. Its headline is a clear answer for that year, but the headline itself does not include the year. A search snippet, shared link or cropped image can lose the context.

Check the article's date and body together. The year in the URL is another useful clue, but the substantive announcement is what matters. An updated copyright year in a footer does not turn an older story into a new release notice.
For a second example, Starbucks' 2024 announcement, published October 30, named Thursday, November 7, 2024. The 2025 launch was Thursday, November 6, 2025. Both fell early in November; two historical dates do not establish a fixed annual rule or confirm a 2026 Thursday.
If you see November 5, 2026 described as an expected date, treat that as a prediction unless it links to a current official announcement. It may be a plausible calendar guess, but plausibility is not confirmation. Avoid arranging a special trip around an undated search answer.
Keep menu launch, Red Cup Day and later drinks separate
The official November 5, 2025 menu announcement is useful because it separates several milestones. The initial menu arrived November 6, while that year's Red Cup Day was November 13.
The 2025 holiday overview also identifies December 2, 2025 as the return date for Eggnog Latte and Chestnut Praline Latte. Someone waiting for those drinks needed a later checkpoint than someone waiting for the initial holiday menu.

These rows describe 2025, not an announced 2026 schedule. Likewise, supermarket coffee and creamers, Starbucks Reserve offerings and other countries' menus may follow their own announcements. For example, the official 2025 story separately discussed holiday products already available in grocery stores.
If your real goal is one drink, keep its name in your reminder. “Holiday menu has launched” is too broad when the drink you want is scheduled for a later phase or is absent from the confirmed lineup.
Check the date on a video, too
WCNC published the report below on November 5, 2025. Its presenter says the holiday menu returns “tomorrow,” which means November 6, 2025 in that report. It also shows that year's holiday cups. It is a useful example of why a current-looking video thumbnail needs a publication-date check.
This is a newsroom report, not Starbucks' official channel and not a 2026 announcement. The official stories above remain the sources for launch dates. Apply the same check to an influencer's tasting video: an authentic experience can still belong to a previous season.
Watch for a dated 2026 headline
