Start with the official appointment route
CBP’s Global Entry application instructions put the interview after conditional approval. Searching for an earlier appointment does not accelerate that initial application review. Each applicant needs a separate interview; a family should not assume one booking covers everyone.
Use the official TTP appointment-location page to explore locations, then follow the scheduling instructions in your own account. The public availability view is useful for planning, but a visible opening is not a reservation.

Use the date filters instead of scanning every center
During our September 22, 2026 check, the public scheduler offered Soonest available appt., an on/by date selector and a number of appointments filter. Those controls answer different questions: the earliest opening anywhere is not necessarily an opening you can attend.
- Decide your latest acceptable interview date and feasible travel area.
- Use the nearest-date option for an initial overview, or the date filter for a specific deadline.
- Apply the filter and let the results finish loading.
- Inspect the actual center, date and time before continuing in your account.

Wait for the page to settle before interpreting an empty result. In our check, the filtered page briefly showed no locations before its location links appeared. That loading observation is a reason to verify the live page, not evidence that appointments were unavailable nationwide.
Avoid turning a screenshot or a third-party wait-time figure into a travel commitment. A useful opening must satisfy all your constraints together: reachable center, suitable date, available time and the correct applicant’s booking.
Check Enrollment on Arrival before paying for alerts
Enrollment on Arrival lets conditionally approved applicants complete their interview when arriving through a participating location, including designated U.S. preclearance locations. It can remove the need for a separate scheduled visit.
This is a specific CBP process, not permission to walk into any enrollment office. Check the airport’s listed location and operating hours against your itinerary. The airport’s ordinary enrollment center and its arrival interview area may serve different purposes; follow the instructions for the route you are using.

The official video describes the process; it does not confirm staffing or interview availability for your flight. The current written location information is the source for planning.
For Enrollment on Arrival, CBP lists a valid passport, evidence of residency and a permanent resident card when applicable. Its instructions include exceptions and additional details, such as the residency-document exception for minors. Read the complete checklist for your circumstances before departure.
Reschedule carefully when a better slot appears
The TTP FAQ explains that applicants in the Interview Scheduled stage can manage rescheduling or cancellation through their account. It also warns that canceling an appointment can affect the application. Read the warning shown in your own workflow before confirming any change.
Treat an alert as a prompt to check, not as proof that you have secured a slot. Open TTP yourself, confirm the same location and date, finish the appropriate scheduling flow, and retain the resulting confirmation. Until that completes, your planning note and the booking system may describe different states.
For example, suppose you already hold an October 20 interview and would prefer any weekday before October 10. A notice about an October 15 opening is earlier, but it still fails your actual deadline. Write down the cutoff before choosing an alert service.
Decide whether a specialist alert is worth using
Services such as Appointment Scanner and Global Entry Alerts focus on interview availability. They are independent services, not CBP. Compare their current location coverage, notification methods and terms on their own sites.
A specialist service is the natural comparison when you want coverage across several centers or notifications while your computer is off. Check whether the alert includes your date constraints and whether it only reports an opening or performs another action. Do not infer an automatic booking from the word “alert.”

Watch one visible availability result on your Mac
If you already use PageDog and need one narrow condition, open a reliably loading availability page, select the center and date area, and describe the exact result that would make you act. Verify that reopening the page preserves the relevant view before scheduling checks.
A condition might be: “Alert me when this center shows an interview before October 10, 2026.” PageDog checks the selected visible area locally on an awake, online Mac and uses hosted AI to evaluate it. Inspect saved evidence after a check. It cannot reserve a slot, advance an application, or bypass login and CAPTCHA challenges. Use a specialist service if the necessary calendar state cannot be reproduced reliably.
A practical decision sequence
First confirm conditional approval. Then compare the official scheduler with Enrollment on Arrival for your actual itinerary. If neither offers a suitable route, define reachable centers and an exact date window before setting up notifications.
