Check the live list before a national expansion story
Start with ALDI's Grand Openings page. Choose your state and follow the address link to the store's own page. If your town is absent, use the official store locator as a second check. A national article announcing hundreds of openings cannot confirm a particular address or day.
This guide covers ALDI in the United States, with pages checked October 7, 2026. The table below records the nine locations shown on the grand-opening list during that check. It is a dated snapshot of that page, not a complete list of every ALDI opening during 2026 and not a promise that every listed location is still awaiting opening.
| State | City | Address on ALDI's list |
|---|---|---|
| Alabama | Daphne | 30947 Mill Lane |
| Arizona | Mesa | 6853 East Elliot Road |
| Arizona | Prescott Valley | 3330 North Glassford Hill Road |
| Louisiana | Metairie | 215 Veterans Memorial Boulevard |
| Michigan | Lansing | 2110 Lake Lansing Road |
| Mississippi | Laurel | 1910 Highway 15 North |
| New York | Latham | 829 Loudon Road |
| New York | Poughkeepsie | 3456 North Road |
| Virginia | Glen Allen | 10310 Washington Highway |
Follow the address from the official list for current details. The city is not enough when a chain has several nearby stores, and a search snippet can retain an older address or announcement. Copy the full street address into your plans only after checking the store page.

Prescott Valley shows why the opening notice matters
The official Prescott Valley page identifies the store as 3330 North Glassford Hill Road, Prescott Valley, Arizona 86314. On October 7, it also displayed a notice that the location was not yet open, even though a weekly opening-hours table was already visible above it.
The same page gave a sneak peek from October 14, 2026 and opening activities on October 15, 2026. Those are two different dates with different meanings. Treat the store's explicit status and event details as part of the answer, rather than reading an ordinary Tuesday-hours row as permission to visit today.
This is also a good reason to verify addresses. During our October 6 check, Google's summary showed a different street number for Prescott Valley than ALDI's own listing. Search summaries are useful for finding the source; resolve a mismatch by opening that source before navigating to the shop.
For opening-day promotions, read the location's full conditions. Limited giveaways are not guaranteed to everyone who arrives, and a promotion at one opening does not establish the terms at another. This guide is about confirming the store and date, not claiming an entitlement to a prize.
Separate three signals before planning your trip
A store page can contain future plans and ordinary operating information at the same time. Read them together:
| Signal | What it can establish | What still needs checking |
|---|---|---|
| Address on Grand Openings | ALDI is promoting that location | Its current status and specific dates |
| Sneak-peek notice | An announced early shopping date | Hours and whether details have changed |
| Grand-opening activities | A scheduled celebration or promotion | Store-specific conditions and availability |
| Weekly hours | The posted recurring schedule | Whether the location has actually opened |
Save the source URL alongside the date. If you send the plan to a friend, include the full address and say whether you mean early shopping or the celebration. “ALDI opens Thursday” loses useful context when someone reads the message after Thursday has passed.
Recheck the individual page close to your planned visit, particularly if you are traveling farther than your normal grocery trip. If the page still conflicts with itself, contact ALDI through its official channels. Avoid turning an estimated month from a construction story into a confirmed opening day.
Why older lists and recent videos can both mislead
ALDI's January 12, 2026 growth announcement set out plans for more than 180 stores across 31 states during 2026. That establishes the scale of the expansion. It does not mean all 180 addresses had been announced, or that an address mentioned in January is still “coming soon” in October.
Local reporting can be more specific. WFSB 3's video published October 1, 2026 covers the East Windsor, Connecticut opening. It illustrates what a local opening announcement looks like, but it is a report about one location on that date, not a live list of future stores.
Check the video's publication date before interpreting “Thursday” or “this week.” The associated WFSB report is dated September 30. Reading it on October 7 does not move that opening into the following week. Our guide to checking when a website was updated explains the difference between a dated report and a current page state.
Follow your location's next confirmed change
For most people, bookmarking the individual ALDI page and checking it before departure is enough. If you are waiting on a location without a firm date, monitor the specific opening notice rather than the whole shopping homepage, where promotions and products change for unrelated reasons.
On a Mac, PageDog can check a selected visible area for a precise outcome. Include the store identity and opening notice together, then use a goal such as: “Notify me when this location announces a definite opening date.” For a page already showing a date, choose the actual change you need, such as a revised date or an explicit open status. Run a check and inspect the evidence first.
PageDog checks locally on an awake, connected Mac and uses hosted AI to evaluate selected evidence. It does not discover unpublished plans, contact the store or guarantee that a page is current. Return to ALDI's page after an alert and confirm the details before traveling. The selected-area monitoring guide covers how to keep that watch focused.
If you are also waiting for another grocer, our Trader Joe's new-location guide covers its separate announcement system. Keep each retailer's dates and sources separate. For ALDI, the final check is simple: the exact address, the explicit opening notice, the date you mean, and the latest source page.
